PADI Open Water
Instruction:
As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy, independent of a professional. Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification.
Aquan’s class sizes are limited to 6 students per class. In addition to the small instructor to student ratio, Aquan’s students spend more time in the pool to develop the necessary skills and foundation to become a comfortable and safe SCUBA diver. Our instructors focus on buoyancy control and trim which will make you a better diver.
Already certified? Then take the next step and become an Advanced Open Water Diver, or get your Drysuit training and experience warm, dry diving in Northern California.

Rentals:
Not ready to invest in dive gear? Rent everything you need from Aquan Sports. Our rental department offers BCD's, regulators with computers, backplates, neutrally buoyant aluminum 80 tanks, weights, wetsuits and drysuits.
Repair:
Keep your gear tuned up and safe with Aquan Sports. We are your full service SCUBA gear maintenance and repair shop. We will protect your investment by keeping your gear in good shape.
Free Rinse Station
Aquan offers a convenient place to rinse off your salty, sandy, and smelly kayaks, scuba gear, and maybe your dog too. Come on in and clean-up before heading home.
SCUBA Tips:
Wouldn't it be nice to pull your gear off the shelf, do a quick check and jump right into the ocean? There's an easy way to do it. Keep your dive gear well maintained and stored properly. Remember that your life depends on your equipment's proper function! By taking good care of it you increase your diving pleasure and avoid many needless nuisances!
After diving remember to clean your gear thoroughly, make sure to rinse the entire system in fresh clean water. Make sure your equipment is dry before storing it. Wetsuits can remain soft and supple by washing them with “Wetsuit Shampoos” that eliminates odors and condition neoprene. Regulators and BCDs should be checked annually and many manufacturers require this to maintain warranties. Stop by Aquan to pick up some wetsuit shampoo and drop your regulator and BCs for their annual check-up.
